Job Summary:

The Product and Technical Exercise Support Specialist will work as part of our high-profile exercise support and product development team providing training and technical support services for Cubic | Intific’s exercise and training products. This role will deliver specialized and mission critical training capabilities at customer locations in high operations tempo environments where domain knowledge, professional composure and communications skills will be of paramount importance. Serve as the final contact delivering products and services to our valued customers. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction operating autonomously or in a small team. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretion and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Cubic | Intific products and services to customers at their location(s)
  • Install, configure and verify software and hardware systems
  • Attend customer exercise / training planning events and convey requirements to software product team(s)
  • Deliver product briefings and demonstrations to potential customers
  • Develop training and exercise plans with an emphasis on the training and planning staff’s roles and responsibilities to include knowledge of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
  • Write reports and create / deliver briefings to diverse audiences
  • Photograph and document exercise sites and convey requirements to software product team(s)
  • Develop Programs of Instruction (POI) and deliver training materials to customer audiences 
  • Support potential short notice / long duration travel CONUS and OCONUS
  • Minimum Job Requirements:

    Four-year college degree, or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Computer Science or related field plus six years of relevant operational experience. Understanding of Intelligence and Operations workflows in either: Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Law Enforcement. DoD or Law Enforcement domains. Familiarity with DoD or Law Enforcement training and exercise operations and key elements of a Program of Instruction (POI). Possesses a proven track record of delivering success while working in a diverse and highly skilled team environment. Rudimentary knowledge of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation process (ADDIE) preferred. Basic computer and network troubleshooting skills and good understanding of Microsoft operating systems. Experience with computer environments to include a functional understanding of computer operating systems, networks, system configuration and basic troubleshooting techniques. Operational experience in the DoD, DHS, National Intelligence and/or Federal Law Enforcement agencies. Domain knowledge with respect to a relevant branch or agency regarding the operations and intelligence lifecycle with special emphasis on the use of open source intelligence and/or the Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) lifecycle for full motion video sources. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Requires focus on achieving results; persists at tasks despite difficulties. Well organized. Able to understand and teach technical systems. Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS on regular basis. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance (active TS/SCI is preferred).
